Relevant Introduction
Foguangshan Jile Temple is located in Xinyi District in the center of Keelung City. It is a functional auditorium that includes culture, art, education, and Buddha. Also, there is a parking lot facing the temple; on the east side is the Keelung Hospital; on the west side is a martyrs' shrine; on the north side is Zhongzheng Park. It is very convenient to get here; the environment is also elegant and clean. The temple has 8 floors; it stands on the popular street so that it is obvious. Jile Temple was rebuilt by Foguangshan in 1991. It is Keelung's largest Buddhist temple, featuring a spacious hall for practicing Zen meditation, a hall for lectures, a large library with books on Buddhism and other religions, an educational center, and a vegetarian restaurant. Maitreya Buddha at the right side of the temple. With modern facilities, it is an important center for practicing Buddhism in Keelung.
